Mark Allen Mooney

November 16, 1965 – December 22, 2024

Mark Allen Mooney, a resident of Dewar, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024, in Muskogee, at the age of 59. Born on November 16, 1965, in Tulsa, Mark was the son of Bobby Gene Mooney and Peggy Jeanette (Gordon) Mooney. Mark honorably served in the United States Air Force from 1986 to 1991. After his military service, Mark dedicated his career to law enforcement. He served as a police officer in Tulsa County, worked with the Okmulgee County Sheriff ’s Department, and was a member of the Muscogee Nation Lighthorse Police until 2004.

Mark is survived by his wife, Genny Mooney; his sons, Riley Mooney and Jacob Mooney; and his daughter, Aubrey Mooney. He is also survived by his father, Bob Mooney; his siblings, Greg Mooney, Pam Crow, and Krista Mooney-Shea; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, aunts, in-laws, and a host of friends.A viewing for friends and family will be held Saturday, December 28, 2024, from 4-8 p.m. at Integrity Chapel. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
