The Oklahoma Employment Security Commission (OESC) announced the OKJob-Match.com system officially shut down Dec. 31, 2024, at 5 p.m. A new, more advanced job-matching platform will take its place and is anticipated to launch on Jan. 13.
OKJobMatch.com has been a valuable tool for job seekers, employers, and training providers, allowing users to access free resources for job searching, recruitment and workforce training.
Registration on OKJobMatch.com has also been a mandatory requirement for filing an unemployment claim.
What can Oklahomans do during this 14 day transition time?
• Make sure your email address on OKJob-Match.com is current. This will improve your user experience when the new system launches Jan. 13.
• You may still file your unemployment claim during this transition time. However, you will not be required to complete your work registration until the new system goes live on Jan. 13.
Once the new system is available, you will be required to complete your work registration within seven days. If you fail to complete your work registration within this time period, this will lead to a denial of your unemployment benefits.
• The transition will not affect the reporting or payment of existing unemployment insurance benefits.
• Reach out to our 27 Oklahoma Works American Job Centers if you have immediate questions. If you have questions regarding your unemployment insurance claim, please contact the UI Service Center at 405-525-1500.
The new system is set to provide an enhanced user experience, ensuring a seamless transition for all Oklahomans seeking employment or workforce services. It will also feature more robust tools to help job seekers and employers find better matches.
OESC will be here during this transition process to help guide job seekers and employers as we transition to this exciting new system.
