Filing period underway for County Fair Board

Okmulgee County residents seeking to serve on the Okmulgee County Fair Board can do so this week at the courthouse.

The candidate filing period opened Monday and will continue through 4:30 p.m. Friday. Citizens wishing to file can do so on the Declaration of Candidacy form, which can be obtained in the Okmulgee County Clerk’s Office during normal Courthouse business hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The election of directors of the Okmulgee County Fair Board is set for Saturday, Feb. 8.
