Knights lose to Wolverines in back-and-forth contest The Henryetta Knights battled the Holdenville Wolverines in a tightly contested game Monday night in Holdenville, but ultimately fell 66-51 after a strong second-half push by the home team.

The game featured 10 lead changes, with Henryetta holding a narrow 36-33 advantage before Holdenville surged ahead with an 11-point run to seize control.

Skylar Greenhaw led the Knights with 17 points, including three three-pointers. Talon Weaver added 11 points, while James Joslin contributed 9 points. Other scorers for Henryetta included Nakona Johnson with 6 points, Bishop Berryhill with 5 points and Isaac Whitlock with 3 points.

--- Lawrence’s big game not enough in Lady Knights’ loss Despite a 13-point effort from Allana Lawrence, the Henryetta Lady Knights couldn’t keep pace in the second half, falling 52-39 to the Holdenville Lady Wolverines on Monday night.

The game was tied at 23 at halftime, but Holdenville used an 8-point run in the third quarter to pull away for good. Henryetta had their best stretch in the second quarter, outscoring Holdenville 10-7.

The Lady Knights dominated the boards, pulling down 36 rebounds, with Lawrence leading the way with nine boards. They also moved the ball well, recording 13 assists on 14 made baskets.
