Federal and local authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying the individual or individuals responsible for a deadly residential arson fire that occurred in Henryetta on Feb. 10, 2025.
According to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), a fire was intentionally set at a residence located at 323 E. Trudgeon in the early morning hours of Monday, Feb. 10. Tragically, the blaze claimed the life of a resident.
The ATF, in partnership with the Henryetta Police Department and the Oklahoma State Fire Marshal’s Office, has classified the fire as an act of arson and the resulting death as murder.
As part of their investigation, surveillance footage shows a person walking toward the residence, setting the fire, and then heading to a nearby QuikTrip. The suspect was reportedly picked up from that location and left the area.
In an effort to bring those responsible to justice, the ATF is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual( s) involved. Investigators are urging anyone who may have seen suspicious activity, has surveillance footage, or holds any knowledge about the incident to come forward. Even the smallest detail could be crucial in solving this case.
