The Okmulgee Board of Education will convene for a special meeting today at 5:30 p.m. in the John Barksdale Board Room located at the Okmulgee Public Schools Administration Building, 316 E. 8th Street in Okmulgee.
The Okmulgee Board of Education will convene for a special meeting today at 5:30 p.m. in the John Barksdale Board Room located at the Okmulgee Public Schools Administration Building, 316 E. 8th Street in Okmulgee.
The agenda for the meeting includes a closed executive session in accordance with Oklahoma Statute Title 25 § 307(B), where board members will interview and discuss potential candidates to fill the vacant Board Seat #4.
Following the executive session, the board will return to open session where a decision may be made regarding the appointment to the vacant seat.
The meeting will also include two superintendent’s reports one prior to the executive session and one following - along with time set aside for announcements before adjournment.
The public is welcome to attend the open portions of the meeting.
