County residents are invited to hear updates from state representatives about the busy session underway at the State Capitol.
Okmulgee’s Legislative Forum, hosted by the Okmulgee Chamber of Commerce, will take place this Friday from 8:30-10 a.m. at the Mabrey Bank Meeting Room, 111 E. 6th St. in downtown Okmulgee. Chamber Director Sarah Rhodes invites the public to come hear updates from State Representatives Scott Fetgatter and Chris Banning, along with Sen.
David Bullard.
Henryetta’s Legislative Forum, hosted by the Henryetta Chamber of Commerce will also take place Friday morning at 11 a.m. at Shoney’s. Citizens can hear from Senate Seat 8 candidates and will receive updates from Sen. David Bullard and Rep. Scott Fetgatter.
Lastly, Beggs’ Legislative Forum, hosted by the Beggs Area Chamber of Commerce, will begin at 1 p.m. at Kanokie Coffeehouse, 118 E. Main St. in downtown Beggs. Attendees will hear updates on this year’s legislative session from Rep. Scott Fetgatter and Rep. Chris Banning.
