Please note that the Okmulgee County Humane Society is on complete intake hold until we can get our animals in foster care adopted, our dogs in boarding to be placed with a rescue, fosters or adopters, and we receive more funding to help us with vet care for the animals we have saved.
If you have been considering adding to your four legged family, now is the time. We have been saving animals in partnership with the city animal shelter with a great big heart, but without kennels of our own. We currently have 16 dogs in boarding and many, many more waiting patiently in foster.
Featured here are Clay, Fiona, Cadbury and Hector. All four are in boarding and in need of homes of their own. We invite you to meet these cuties today.
Clay is a two year old mixed male weighing in at 57 pounds. He is loving, good with other dogs, and good with children.
Fiona is an adult female with a great big smile weighing in at just 36 pounds. She is calm, gentle, good with other dogs and good with children.
Cadbury is a young male weighing in at only 30 pounds. He has lots of fun, entertaining, puppy energy! He is good with other dogs and paid very little attention to the young children.
Hector is a 2-year-old male weighing in at 57 pounds. He is always alert with his ears perked up high. With one blue eye and one brown eye, he is pretty special. He’s always happy to see a human and gets along with other dogs.
Meet all of our adoptables on our website at www.okmulgeehumane.org/adoptables.html.
Please consider donating to help us help them at www.okmulgeehumane.org/donate.html.
We are very thankful for our community and all the continued support and care you provide to the animals.
