The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced this week that Kenric West, age 47, of Henryetta, pleaded guilty to one count of distributing methamphetamine.
The charges arose from an investigation by the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
The federal indictment alleged that on Sept. 28, 2023, West knowingly and intentionally distributed 112 grams of a mixture and substance containing a detectable amount of methamphetamine, a Schedule II controlled substance.
Judge D. Edward Snow accepted the plea and ordered the completion of a presentence investigation report. West was remanded to the custody of the United States Marshal Service pending sentencing.
