The Okmulgee Chamber of Commerce Spring Craft Show, scheduled for April 20, is shaping up to be a huge event, with some very talented artisans participating.
This year’s show will be held at the Okmulgee County Fairgrounds from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Kelly Baehler, coordinator of the craft show, is excited about the variety of vendors and crafters featured at the event.
Earlier this week, Baehler posted “it’s going to be a fabulous craft show! We have so many wonderful Craft Artists participating this year! Pottery Artist, Crochet Artists, Quilting Artists, Seamstresses of all kinds, Jewelry Artists, Soapmakers, Recycler/Upcylers, Woodworkers, Papercraft Artists and the list goes on and on! So many wonderful things to choose from.”
Baehler added there are 10 outdoor 10×10 spaces left. So if interested, text her at 918-346-3954 with your name and your craft.
The participants will be both inside the main Exhibit Hall, along with the Commissioner’s Building, and space is available outside for others who wish to do so.
There is a cost to be a vendor at the craft show, though entry for the public to visit the different participants is completely free.
Several organizations, including 4-H and Lions Club, will be manning the food concessions.
Vendors must remain during the entire time of the event. Setup will be April 19 from 7-9 p.m.
One of the craftsmen is a retired Tech instructor, who uses his skills on the wood mill and uses a CNC Machine to work with wood.
Some of the unique creations (pictured with this article) include clocks, cutting boards, wall decor and more.
