The Okmulgee Young Professionals (OYP) invites the public to join them for a great event this Saturday, as many will be celebrating Easter.
The organization is hosting its first-ever “Touch a Truck” event in partnership with the Okmulgee Service League’s annual Egg Hunt, Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m. at Okmulgee Municipal Park, adjacent to the Okmulgee County Family YMCA.
The OYP event is aimed to spotlight several public safety departments in the area, including the Okmulgee Fire Department, Okmulgee Police Department, Okmulgee County Sheriff’s Office, Okmulgee County EMS, Okmulgee County Emergency Management and more.
Bring your kids to see the trucks and vehicles that keep the community safe and meet the dedicated individuals who serve and protect every day.
As always, the Easter Egg Hunt will begin promptly at 10 a.m., with several age categories so all the youngsters can participate and perhaps win special prizes.
Don’t miss out on the chance to win big, as there’s more than just candy in the eggs.
Neal’s Homestore will also provide bicycles as prizes for OSL to give away.
The Coffee Gait will be onsite with coffee available to purchase.
Stay after the egg hunt, and be sure to visit the Okmulgee Young Professionals and “Touch a Truck.”
